San Besso is revered not only in Campiglia and in Val Soana, but also in the Canavese and the neighboring Aosta Vallery. He attributed a series of miracles. Tradition says that, 6 October 1845, after a catastrophic flood, the houses located in the lower village Campiglia were swept away by the fury of the waters and the whole town was in danger. The population plunged the relic of the saint in the water and muddy after the rain stopped and the country was saved.
