BUTCHER SHOP BASOLO PAOLO:
It is a butcher's shop where you will find the famous "Salampatata", typical of the Canavese, a soft sausage made of pork, bacon, boiled potatoes and spices. The origins of this particular salami are lost in the mists of time. With its simple ingredients, salami potato was able to completely satisfy the needs of the rural population in their farms that packaged product. The meat and half lean half fat, is ground and mixed in the right proportions. Then stuffed into natural casings and is produced from September to March, before the potato ferments. A limited amount of pepper up, nutmeg, cinnamon and other natural flavors complement the preparation of this exquisite product. Is typically consumed almost immediately, it enjoyed raw or cooked roast or grilled.
